The project you see below was one of my first time using Adobe Affect Effects since high school. This project had me to create a special holiday greeting from a restaurant/bar that is located within London Ontario,
Before I could create the video I first needed to create the logo as for this project we had to remake the logo of a bar or restaurant of our choice. So for me I did Winks Eater Inc, located just on Richmond London Ontario. This logo I tried to make like if its more of a sports bar feeling as when you enter to bar it tends to give you off that vide of a place. Ones the logo was made I then had to start considering on what mascot Winks Eatery Inc could use, so due to the fact that on the main website of Winks they mention that they are an American Sport Bar I naturally came to the conclusion of a Bald Eagle. Due to the nature of their importances within the USA. Once the logo, and mascot which were both done within Adobe Photoshop were made, I then had to start making the background, foreground, mid ground, and all of the little illustrations that you see within the video. Once the illustrations were made I then wanted to move forward with making the video within After Effect. The only challenge I faced with this project was how could I make the eagle feel like its flying in, so after thinking and sketching out a few ideas I came to the conclusion by making a few other adaptation of the eagle, from him landing and flying in. Once that was all done I was finally able to make the video that you see before you.
