This project my class was asked by the annual London Home Country Music & Arts Festival to create a brand new poster to help and advertise the whole event in which would show case different musical entertainment from country to classical.
To start this project I wanted to really consider what is meant to be at the festival and when you think of country music what would you picture. For me I pictured a sun set over a forest with a musical instrument that would represent the music setting by a nice camp fire. Ones that idea was in my head I then moved forward with my design. Starting in Adobe Illustrator to make any and all outline for everything I want to include for the final design. Ones the design were finished I then moved them, over to Adobe Photoshop in which there would select the colours I would think would work best for each area and using a air brush technique would gently colour in the poster to which you would se bellow.
